It bears an archeological importance for its historical and cultural value. Again Sundarbans is the most important world heritage site in Bangladesh which is situated to the South of the country. The Sundarban is famous for the Royal Bengal Tigers, deer and sundari trees. It is the largest mangrove forest in the world. The sea-beach of the Bay of Bengal in Chittagong is also a world heritage site because it is the longest sea coast in the world. We are lucky enough to have as many as four world heritage sites in such a small country like ours. World heritage sites are very important internationally.
