Health is the real wealth. Good health means a state of being well in body and mind. It keeps one fit and free from diseases. It is the greatest possession and key to all pleasures of life. That is why people say; “When money is lost, nothing is lost; but when health is lost everything is lost.” To keep good health, we should follow the rules of health. We need to eat a balanced diet. We should do physical exercise regularly and take rest timely. As most of the people in our country live below the poverty line, they do not get the food they need for good health. Even the rich and educated people are not conscious of the rules of good health.  They think that costly food means a nutritive food. It is their wrong conception regarding food. As a result, most of the people of our country suffer from various diseases and complexities that create a harmful effect on our health like frustration, hopelessness, etc. These complexities also affect our work. A rich and highly ambitious cannot maintain good health. By keeping simple and carefree life one can enjoy a peaceful life. Good health brings heaven on the earth.

স্বাস্থ্যই আসল সম্পদ। সুস্বাস্থ্য মানে শরীর ও মন ভালো থাকার অবস্থা। এটি একজনকে ফিট ও রোগমুক্ত রাখে। এটি জীবনের সমস্ত আনন্দের সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ অধিকার এবং চাবিকাঠি। তাইতো মানুষ বলে; “যখন টাকা হারিয়ে যায়, কিছুই হারিয়ে যায় না; কিন্তু স্বাস্থ্য নষ্ট হয়ে গেলে সব হারিয়ে যায়। সুস্বাস্থ্যের জন্য আমাদের স্বাস্থ্যবিধি মেনে চলতে হবে। আমাদের সুষম খাবার খেতে হবে। আমাদের উচিত নিয়মিত শারীরিক ব্যায়াম করা এবং সময়মতো বিশ্রাম নেওয়া। আমাদের দেশের বেশির ভাগ মানুষ দারিদ্র্যসীমার নিচে বসবাস করে বলে সুস্বাস্থ্যের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় খাবার পায় না। এমনকি ধনী ও শিক্ষিত ব্যক্তিরাও সুস্বাস্থ্যের নিয়মকানুন সম্পর্কে সচেতন নন। তারা মনে করেন, দামি খাবার মানেই পুষ্টিকর খাবার। এটা তাদের খাদ্য সম্পর্কে ভুল ধারণা। ফলস্বরূপ, আমাদের দেশের বেশিরভাগ মানুষ বিভিন্ন রোগ ও জটিলতায় ভোগে যা আমাদের স্বাস্থ্যের উপর ক্ষতিকর প্রভাব সৃষ্টি করে যেমন হতাশা, আশাহীনতা ইত্যাদি। এই জটিলতাগুলি আমাদের কাজেও প্রভাব ফেলে। একজন ধনী এবং উচ্চাকাঙ্ক্ষী সুস্বাস্থ্য বজায় রাখতে পারে না। সরল ও চিন্তামুক্ত জীবন যাপনের মাধ্যমে একজন শান্তিময় জীবন উপভোগ করতে পারে। সুস্বাস্থ্য পৃথিবীতে স্বর্গ নিয়ে আসে।
