This trek is divided into two 4 sections, if you are taking your vehicle or a jeep/auto from Kakkabe you can exclude the first section until the Nalknad place The following three sections, however, will apply to you.

Section 1- Kakkabe bridge to Nalknad Palace

Section 2- Nalkand Palace to Base Tadiandamol

Section 3-Tadiandamol's base to the Boulder Point

Section 4- Boulder point to Peak of Tadiandamol



Best Season to Visit

The best season to visit this trek is from September to February. Post monsoon you will witness a good amount of lush green landscapes. You will get a much clearer view as compared to monsoon season. In the summer season, there are a lot of chances to get wildfires hence trekking is not allowed and is banned during the peak summer season which is from April to June. 

Here in monsoon, there will be heavy rainfall if you take this up like a monsoon trek be ready with all the gear, you might have a little bit of difficulty during the peak season of monsoon.


Places to Visit after Tadiandamol Trek

Here you can visit Bhagamandala which is situated on the river Kaveri in its upstream stretches. This place is considered a pilgrimage place because of the sacred confluence of the river in the Kodagu district. Here the Kaveri is joined by two tributaries the Kannike and the mythical Sujyothi river.

You can stay at Bhagamandala for the night the buses start at 6.15 am and head to Cherambane. You can easily cover both the treks and take a pick on which one you like more.
